This car was not a previously German registered car brought in through the “Grey Market” system. This vehicle was built in September of 1983 and delivered to the U.S. late in September via Luftansa air frieght JFK, N.Y. This car was released from DOT and EPA bonds in January and March of 1984. The ownership history is fully documented. These European cars were built in very low production numbers, well under 1,000 units total per year. They are also putting out 300 HP versus the U.S. cars at 260 HP. This particular car is considered to be of “investment grade” with only 27k documented miles.
